Discover Adelaide Town Hall's Intriguing History
Passionate & knowledgeable City of Adelaide volunteers guide visitors on a fascinating tour of the building. During the tour, information is shared about the building's architecture, world famous organ, history and Colonel William Light, who was a British military officer and the first Surveyor-General of the Colony of South Australia.
Adelaide Town Hall Tours
Adelaide Town Hall is open to the public from 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday.
Visitors are welcome to come in to view the bronze statue of Queen Adelaide on the ground floor as well as venture up the grand marble stairs to the level one main foyer to view the stunning art exhibitions and displays.
Please note: there may be days and times when there are private events being held. If you want to find out if there are any events on the day you would like to visit, please call the Venue Office on (08) 8203 7590.
Public tours are available on selected Mondays at 10am.
