Our latest COVID-19 information

The Adelaide Town Hall is open to the public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and is available for a variety of events including live performances, weddings, meetings, presentations, public art exhibitions, live music rehearsals, organ practice and community events.

Updated room capacities

The maximum capacity currently permitted is 756 people, with the below capacity limits on individual venue areas:

Which areas in the Adelaide Town Hall are open to the public?

The following areas are open to the public:

  • Main Foyers
  • Mankurri-api Kuu / Reconciliation Room
  • Auditorium
  • Banqueting Room
  • The Balcony

Site visits for future events in all other venues are available by appointment

Can I come in for a site visit to view the venue?

Yes, to arrange a site visit please contact our Adelaide Town Hall team to arrange an appointment.

Can I postpone my event?

Yes, any Adelaide Town Hall client who currently holds a booking, up to and including December 30 2020, are able to postpone their event and transfer to a new date (along with any associated deposits), within a twelve (12) month period from the date of their original event booking. Should you wish to postpone your event, or have any queries regarding your event booking, please contact a member of the Adelaide Town Hall team on (08) 8203 7590.

Can my booking still be processed?

All event bookings will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Adelaide Town Hall team to ensure compliance with State Government directives regarding gatherings. Clients will be contacted directly regarding any impacts to their scheduled events.
