The hidden gem of the city, the Meeting Hall is spacious yet intimate, charming and effortlessly appealing.
Nestled behind the Adelaide Town Hall, this venue is especially private but warmly welcoming due to its vaulted high ceilings and timber floors. The Meeting Hall was built in 1862 as a school room and lecture hall for the then neighbouring Methodist Church before becoming the first seat of Prince Alfred College.
Today the Meeting Hall provides an ideal setting for wedding ceremonies, meetings, workshops, casual or formal functions of up to 160 people.
There is an inbuilt stage, evocative chandeliers and fixed theatre lighting and sound to suit all styles of events.
