Kym Purling is now in his fourth decade of an impressive international career. Following a very active period in Adelaide in the mid 90s, Purling then spent twenty-four years based in the major hubs of Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles and Paris.
A respected musical director, he has conducted Broadway shows and worked with artists like Natalie Cole, Engelbert Humperdinck and Frank Sinatra Jr.
In 2025 Kym Purling was inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame. Visitors to Adelaide Town Hall can experience the SA Music Hall of Fame display until 1 July 2026.
His jazz trios have become synonymous with the jazz scenes in Australia, The U.S., Asia and Europe since its inception in the early 90s. This concert features the newest configuration of the Kym Purling Trio with bassist Tim Bowen and drummer Jackson Mack.
