Symphony Series 5 – Swansong

July
Symphony Series 5 – Swansong Slider Image 1
Grand symphonies, bold new voices, and the electrifying sound of live orchestral music.

Inspired by poetry and prayer, Arvo Pärt's Swansong opens the program with a spacious, meditative stillness.

Tchaikovsky's deeply personal Symphony No.6 Pathétique closes it – his final completed work, imbued with impassioned beauty and a sense of farewell.

Mozart's sparkling concerto offers a delicate contrast with its ethereal blend of flute and harp, their solo voices weaving together with the warmth and intimacy of old friends.

Generously supported by Sally Gordon.
