Queen Adelaide, the namesake of the city, was a wondrous woman and was (and still is) admired by many for her concern for children and the less fortunate. In the Queen Adelaide room at the Adelaide Town Hall, a passionate volunteer will share a presentation and tales of her remarkable life in Germany and England.
